Biography
20 year old Ashley Rose is an up and coming singer/songwriter who has received rave reviews for both her impressive vocal capabilities and her unique and deeply layered writing style. With a vocal range that spans over 4 octaves, Ashley's pure vocals embody beautifully rich and textured tones. She adds depth and intensity to her vocal performances and emotes strength and raw emotion in every song.
No stranger to performing, Ashley has been performing since she was a young teen thru out the NY Tri-State area. Her most thrilling Live performance was when she was invited twice to sing before over 10,000 people at Madison Square Garden in NYC. In 2003, Ashley was a finalist on NBC's "Americas Most Talented Kids," along with other music industry artists JoJo, Diana Degarmo, and Cheyenne Kimball.
Since recording her CD in 2006, Ashley and her newly formed band have been making a huge splash in the music scene. Ashley's music has been heard on dozen's of stations thru out the US including XM Satellite Radio where she was selected as a Featured Artist. In the summer of 2006, Ashley was invited to sing live on NJ 101.5 FM's Jersey Guys Show. Her appearance was a success and she received rave reviews from the show's hosts and from listeners around the world. Ashley and her band have been busy touring the NY area and have been honored to be invited to play at legendary venues such as The BitterEnd and Kenny's Castawys.
Ashley's debut CD "Blind to the Light" is a collection of songs that chronical the journey of her transformation from adolecence to womanhood. Top industry professionals have called Ashley's songs , "original and highly marketable", saying that her songs have "poetically written lyrics that bring the listener into a state of sensuality" and "melodies and voice that come strait from the heart and have the power to make you remember the song and the performance." In 2006, her title song "Blind to the Light" placed top 5 in the International contest Song of the Year. Her song "Deep" was a runner up in 2005. Her new CD "On Edge" is nearly ready for release.

March 2006: Starred as Lucy AND Emma, (alternating roles), in "Jekyll and Hyde". Received a "Rising Star" nomination for "Best Actress in a Musical" for her performance of Lucy.
December 2005: Played the role of Rizzo in the Musical "Grease".?
November 2005: Appeared as Lady Belleston in the comedy "Tom Jones".
